How can Garden Centres reserve stock in September and then refuse to take it in Spring when their sales are poor/inclement weather/ economy etc. What do garden Centre operators think about this?

Always been reserves are a gentleman's agreement with no guarantee they will be taken ,however growers should manage this to ensure it works for all and not let retailers out silly numbers in and retailers prioritise reserved stock rather than free stock, Also many times when growers don't have enough stock to supply all reserves
