Peter's contribution to his Community and Industry was just amazing. His hard work and tenacity helped grow Longacres into one of the biggest and most successful GC businesses in the UK. He also helped grow many of the leading Brands in the Industry today and encouraged new ideas and ways to make the shopping experience more exciting and relevant to todays consumers. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family but his legacy will go on. RIP Peter.

I was Mary Longs best friend and spent many years in her company travelled with them both for many years and took them to the Far East Hong Kong etc and South America Peters favourite holiday was to Brazil and Rio for the Mardi Gras which I arranged loved Peter and will miss him very much both he and Mary were a big part of my life.
