Writing has been on the wall for a long time. Sorry for the staff, suppliers will take the financial hit after supporting Homebase allowing stock to go into stores when no insurance was available. Sure Homebase won’t be the last to go pre Christmas. Time these ways of offloading debt were stopped. Executive team will walk away and pop up elsewhere and tell everyone how good they are.
