The HTA has reported strong sales for garden centres in November, showing a 6% increase compared to 2023, even when excluding café and restaurant sales.

Certainly the very big Christmas days of Friday 29th November and Saturday 30th November made a huge difference, with these days being in December in 2023. Worth looking at combined Nov/Dec sales to assess true impact. Especially with real trees this is one of the major weekends for sales. But being positive, it is good to see these figures after the ridiculous Autumn budget.
