Thompson & Morgan launches new charity rose in support of St Peter’s Hospice

Thompson & Morgan has unveiled a new rose named in honour of actress, presenter and gardening enthusiast Caroline Quentin at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026.

Officially launched on the Sparsholt College stand, Rose ‘Caroline Quentin’ was introduced with Caroline herself attending the unveiling during this year’s show.

The new floribunda variety features soft pink double blooms, glossy dark green foliage and a strong floral fragrance. Compact in habit and repeat flowering throughout the season, it has been bred to suit modern gardens and outdoor living spaces.

The rose was inspired by Caroline Quentin’s longstanding passion for gardening and her creative gardening platform, CQ Gardens. Speaking at the launch, she said: “I am chuffed to bits to have the prettiest, pinkest, sweetest perfumed rose I’ve ever seen, named after me.”

As part of the launch, Thompson & Morgan is also supporting St Peter's Hospice, a charity close to Caroline Quentin’s heart. For every rose sold, £1 will be donated to the hospice to help fund care and support for patients and families facing life-limiting illness.

Visitors attending RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026 can view Rose ‘Caroline Quentin’ throughout the event on the Sparsholt College stand.
