HTA members power RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026

Company: HTA

Members of the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) are playing a central role at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026, contributing to around three-quarters of the show’s gardens and reinforcing the sector’s importance to UK environmental horticulture.

Across this year’s event, HTA member businesses are involved in 27 of the 37 gardens on display, providing plants, design expertise, landscaping services and specialist construction support. In total, around 50 member companies are supplying products and services ranging from trees, bulbs and seeds to tools and technical horticultural inputs.

HTA chief executive Fran Barnes said members represent “the backbone of the Chelsea Flower Show,” highlighting their role in delivering the quality, innovation and expertise that define the event.

Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) members are also heavily involved in construction, contributing to 17 show gardens including major entries such as the Parkinson’s UK Garden, The Boodles Garden and the Woodland Trust: Forgotten Forest Garden. Other HTA members are delivering large-scale installations and immersive exhibits across the showground.

Notable contributions include Crocus building The Tate Britain Show Garden, Hortus Loci supplying approximately 30,000 perennials, Blue Diamond delivering the largest Great Pavilion exhibit, and Taylors Bulbs showcasing more than 40 daffodil varieties.

HTA members are also strongly represented in the RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year competition, with 13 of the 17 shortlisted plants supplied or exhibited by member businesses.

The HTA said its members not only underpin the success of Chelsea but also support the wider UK economy, environmental benefits and the creation of more than 722,000 jobs across the horticulture and landscaping sector.
