Midlands landscaping family creates G-Scapes Group

Company: G-Scapes Group
A family-run Midlands landscaping and horticulture business has created the G-Scapes Group, bringing four established specialist operations together under one identity.

G-Scapes of Lichfield, founded in 1973 by Malcolm and Elizabeth Gee, has brought G-Scapes Landscaping, Fullbrook Nursery, Folium at Fullbrook and Boultons Nursery together as the G-Scapes Group.

The move creates a clearer group structure for a business that now spans garden design and build, commercial plant supply, specialist trade plant supply and nursery production. The company says the new identity reflects how the businesses already operate, while allowing each division to retain its specialist focus.

Investment and growth drive formation of new Midlands horticultural group

The launch follows continued investment across the group, including improvements to nursery infrastructure, increased growing capacity and the development of its horticultural team.
Dan Gee, managing director of G-Scapes Group, said, This has been a long time in the making. We have always been one family with one set of values; this simply makes that clearer to the people we work with. The expertise, the relationships and the commitment our customers rely on are not changing. We are telling the story of what we have built more clearly than we have before.”

Four specialist businesses unite under a single family-led identity

Each business within the group continues to focus on its specialist market:
  • G-Scapes Landscaping – landscape design, construction and planting for homeowners and estates.
  • Fullbrook Nursery – large-scale plant supply for developers, landscape contractors and local authorities.
  • Folium at Fullbrook – specialist plant supply for independent landscapers and garden designers, including a Plant Trade Centre at its Staffordshire site.
  • Boultons Nursery – heritage nursery production for garden centres and specialist retailers, with peat-free and peat-reduced stock.
Shaw Pye, director of operations, added, “Bringing our businesses together under the G-Scapes Group reflects the way we have always worked, as one team, with shared knowledge and a shared commitment to getting things right. Each division has its own specialist expertise, but together we offer our customers something broader. While our identity is evolving, the people, the service and the relationships that matter remain exactly the same.”
