The Role of Area Sales Manager:

Sales territory: North East, East Midlands and North Norfolk

This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-established and highly skilled Sales Representative seeking an opportunity to take a sales area to the next level of achievement.

Inheriting a territory with an established customer base of garden centres, gift shops and homewares stores, your brief will be to develop existing accounts, open more stockists, sell through the range and work with customers to increase sell-through.

Candidate profile: Area Sales Manager:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a track record of success selling to independent retailers – ideally garden centres, gift shops, homewares retailers or department stores. With evidence of strong trade relationships, successful sales experience and a persuasive character you will be confident in your ability to open new accounts and develop existing customers by range-selling and merchandising. Specific qualities we seek are:

• Based on area – East Midlands preferable
• At least five years of field sales experience – dealing with independent retailers.
• A passionate, charismatic and persuasive character
• Numerate, articulate, fun and trustworthy.
• Competent Computer Skills – Excel, Word, Team - Remote Ordering experience beneficial
• High energy with fantastic communication skills
• Well organised and able to work with a broad product range.
