The first Garden Centre Expo had a good atmosphere and plenty of interest with many exhibitors new to garden retail. But is it a buyers’ show?

We were there too and it was total chaos in set up. The show has a great ‘vibe’ and the fact everyone has similar stands is good. Not well attended in terms of both garden suppliers and retailers but think over time it could grow and develop. Layout was very confusing and all over the place!

Definitely not a buyer show, they simply weren't there. There is also an organisational issue, it was chaos on set up and previous exhibitors who had been promised an improvement on previous chaos thought it was worse than ever. Appears from discussion with other exhibitors to be the organisers cutting corners on cost and not having sufficient resource to get vans unloaded. Certainly not on our list to repeat.
