Dobbies restructure plan advises there is no risk to Suppliers , that of course cannot be correct , there is a threat to suppliers . What is the Plan B if the Restructure plan is refused by Lenders ? Lenders normally see this type of business situation as an opportunity , and often with a more dynamic financial outcome . Suppliers /Creditors to the business rarely end up unscathed. We ofcourse wish them well , but Suppliers beware until new finance is in place.

I'm not really surprised Dobbies are trying to run it like a supermarket and that is not how the garden centre world work there concept is boring. I doubt whether this will save them. Perhaps a pop down to a Blue Diamond to see how its done would help them more.
