As Cook/Chef you will be able to prepare delicious meals following the menu plan under guidance from the Kitchen Manager and team of Chef’s. You will be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well prepared and presented meals, maximising the customer experience. You will have the ability to work efficiently in the kitchen and effectively multi-task.
Supporting the Kitchen Manager and team of Chef’s to ensure ordering, cooking to strict deadlines, wastage control and the highest standard of compliance to meet environmental health / health and safety are achieved.
If you enjoy cooking and have the motivation to upskill then this position offers the opportunity as you will be working alongside a team of accomplished Chefs.
The working rota is 5 days over 7 to include alternate weekends working from 09:00 to 17:30.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Good standard of education to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year’s experience of working in a commercial kitchen
Level 2 Award in Food Safety (this is a quick online course)
